Aaron Paul is set to join the cast of Prime Video's post-apocalyptic series Fallout for its third season.

The 46-year-old Emmy-winning actor's casting was announced on Monday, May 11, according to industry reports. The addition marks his next major television project following his acclaimed work on HBO's Westworld.

Fallout, adapted from the renowned video game franchise, follows survivors of a nuclear catastrophe. The show's premise centers on "the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there's almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them above."

The series counts Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy among its executive producers—the same creative team behind Westworld, where Paul previously appeared.

In related casting news, actors Annabel O'Hagan and Dave Register have been promoted to series regular status for season 3.

The ensemble cast includes Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, and Frances Turner.
