ABC Announces 2026-2027 Season Slate with Multiple Renewals, One Cancellation, and Leadership Shake-Up

ABC has locked in its television lineup for the 2026-2027 season, revealing a slate of renewals and cancellations that shapes the network's fall schedule.

The network has greenlit seven significant renewals as it builds out its upcoming fall programming. However, the renewal announcements come alongside one notable cancellation, with a series exiting the network's roster.

Among the moves, one of the renewed shows will see a shake-up in its creative direction, with changes coming to the showrunner position for the series moving forward.

The decisions address the fates of several shows including "The Rookie" and "RJ Decker," which were among the titles facing uncertain futures heading into the renewal period.
