Adam Driver Addresses Lena Dunham's 'Famesick' Book Claims With Humor

Adam Driver has weighed in on the contentious claims made by his former "Girls" co-star Lena Dunham in her recently published memoir "Famesick."
The book, which arrived last month, contains several striking passages about the pair's time working together on set. Among the most notable is an account of a tense rehearsal moment in which Dunham describes forgetting her lines during a practice session in her trailer. According to her recollection, Driver's frustration boiled over. "Adam screamed, 'FUCKING SAY SOMETHING' and hurled a chair at the wall next to me. 'WAKE THE FUCK UP,' he told me. 'I'M SICK OF WATCHING YOU JUST STARE,'" she wrote.
Dunham also characterized the experience as frightening, noting Driver's intensity and presence during their work together on fight choreography.
When approached for comment while attending Cannes, Driver kept his response light and brief. "I have no comment on any of that. I'm saving it all for my book," he said, suggesting he may eventually offer his own perspective on their working relationship.
The memoir has generated considerable attention for its behind-the-scenes revelations about the acclaimed HBO series and the dynamics between its cast members during production.
