Adeline Rudolph Boards Netflix's '13 Going on 30' Reboot

Adeline Rudolph is heading to Netflix for the streamer's reimagining of a beloved rom-com classic.

The 31-year-old British-Hong Kong actress has signed on to star in the upcoming reboot of 13 Going on 30, Deadline reported on Thursday. Rudolph announced the news herself via Instagram, sharing her enthusiasm about the project. "13 year old me is screaming. Excited for this next journey with the Netflix fam," she wrote.

Rudolph's career began in the modeling world before transitioning to acting. She made her on-screen debut in the Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and has since built a diverse résumé that includes appearances in Hellboy: The Crooked Man, the CW's Riverdale, Netflix's Resident Evil adaptation, and the action film Mortal Kombat II, where she plays Kitana.

The reboot project was first announced in March, with the news that People We Meet on Vacation's Emily Bader and We Were the Lucky Ones' Logan Lerman would headline the film. Story specifics remain under wraps for now.

Jennifer Garner, who starred in the original 2004 film, is attached as an executive producer on the reboot. The original film followed Jenna Rink, a 13-year-old who wished to fast-forward through her teenage years and awoke as a 30-year-old fashion magazine editor.

Filming is scheduled to commence in Los Angeles later this month.
