Alex Cooper and Matt Kaplan Present United Front at YouTube TV Upfront

Alex Cooper and Matt Kaplan stepped out together Wednesday at YouTube's TV Upfront held at Lincoln Center in New York City, presenting a show of solidarity as a couple.
At the event on May 13, Cooper unveiled the slate of new programming set to premiere on her Unwell Network in spring 2027. The announcements included the competition series Unwell Games, the two-part miniseries Pot Stirrer, the microdrama Holiday Hard Launch, and the docuseries Before The Steps.
The high-profile appearance arrives on the heels of a Bloomberg News report detailing allegations regarding the couple's company, Trending, which operates both the Unwell Network and Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast. According to the report, Matt Kaplan, 42, who co-runs the company with Cooper, frequently raises his voice at employees. Sources familiar with company operations told the outlet that during production of the Unwell Winter Games earlier this year, Kaplan allegedly berated crew members on set and made threats about preventing them from future work in the entertainment industry—an incident that reportedly left one crew member in tears.
The couple has not issued any public statement regarding the allegations.
The workplace conduct report has surfaced amid Cooper's ongoing social media tension with influencer Alix Earle. When asked about the dispute in a recent interview, the 25-year-old Earle characterized it as overblown, calling the feud "exaggerated."
Additionally, Claire Holt, who was previously married to Matt Kaplan, recently shared her perspective on the unfolding situation.
