Alex Rodriguez and Jaclyn Cordeiro End Relationship After Nearly Four Years Together

Alex Rodriguez and Jaclyn Cordeiro have ended their relationship.

The 46-year-old fitness instructor revealed the breakup on Thursday (May 21) through a statement provided to TMZ, confirming that she and the 50-year-old retired Yankees star have parted ways after close to four years of dating.

"To clarify, Alex and I are currently taking some time apart but there continues to be mutual love, care, and deep respect between us and for our families," Jaclyn said. "We remain supportive of one another, and there is absolutely no animosity, drama, or negative story here."

She added that personal matters are demanding her attention at the moment. "I'm also navigating a serious health matter involving a family member at this time, so my focus is understandably there. Alex and I continue to be very close, and out of respect for everyone involved especially our daughters and loved ones I'd kindly ask that any reporting reflects the compassion and privacy this situation deserves."

Both Rodriguez and Cordeiro each have children from prior relationships.

An insider close to Rodriguez told the outlet that the couple separated approximately two months prior to the announcement, emphasizing that only mutual respect exists between them.

The pair first became romantically linked in October 2022 and made their relationship public on Instagram in December of that year. They made their official public debut together at an NBA game in January 2023.
