Alix Earle Downplays Feud With Alex Cooper: 'It's Exaggerated'

Alix Earle is sidestepping questions about her reported conflict with Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper.

The 25-year-old social media personality appeared on Today's Tuesday, May 12 episode as one of the cover models for Sports Illustrated's 2026 Swimsuit Issue. When anchor Craig Melvin pressed her about tensions with "another internet personality and podcaster," Earle kept her response measured.

"Well, I'm trying to keep things pretty positive today, you know, we don't have that much time here honestly, so it's like, why ruin such a good day with something not so great?" she said.

Melvin persisted, asking whether the situation had been "exaggerated" or if real friction existed between them.

"No, it's exaggerated. I love everyone," Earle replied with a smile.

Though Melvin expressed skepticism about her answer, he allowed her to move forward with the interview.

Speculation about a rift between the two figures emerged in March 2025 after Earle's Hot Mess podcast departed from Alex's Unwell Network. Neither woman publicly disclosed the reason for the business split at the time.

The tension resurfaced in April 2026 when Cooper posted a TikTok video addressing the rumored feud directly. She called on Earle to either explain any grievances straightforwardly or cease perpetuating what she characterized as a "fake narrative." Cooper also alleged that Earle was making passive-aggressive reposts rather than communicating her concerns openly.

Days earlier, Earle had reposted a TikTok containing criticism of Cooper, including a reference to her as an "ambulance chaser."

Earle subsequently commented on Cooper's video with "Okay on it!!" but has not yet provided a substantive public response to the callout.
