Allison Williams and Michelle Randolph Join Forces for Sci-Fi Thriller 'Homewrecker'

Allison Williams and Michelle Randolph are joining forces for an upcoming sci-fi survival thriller.
Variety revealed on Thursday that the 38-year-old M3GAN star and 28-year-old Landman actress have been cast in Homewrecker, helmed by French director Xavier Gens. The film follows "three star-crossed Americans" who must collaborate to endure "a terrifying unexplained global event that threatens to destroy life as they know it" during a devastating personal crisis.
The screenplay comes from Elisa Bell and Travis Gordon. Beyond her acting role, Williams will also executive produce the project.
"I found the script riveting, and it had a depth that continued shifting and revealing itself as I read," Williams said in a statement. "Then, knowing Xavier's work, I was very eager to work with this talented filmmaker. I'm grateful to be part of this team and this project."
Randolph expressed her enthusiasm as well: "I was immediately drawn to how Homewrecker blends psychological tension with something deeply character-driven. It has a kind of intensity and unpredictability that makes it such a compelling project. I'm so excited to be part of this with Allison and Xavier."
Filming is set to commence in mid-July in France.
