2026 American Music Awards Lineup Announced: KATSEYE, Maluma, Hootie & the Blowfish Among Performers

The roster of performers for the upcoming 2026 American Music Awards has been unveiled, showcasing a diverse mix of established acts and rising talent. Queen Latifah will take the helm as host for the ceremony, which streams and broadcasts live at 8 p.m. ET on May 25 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, available on both CBS and Paramount+.
The performance slate includes several notable moments. Hootie & the Blowfish will grace the stage for a medley of their greatest hits, marking their return to the AMAs platform three decades after winning the Pop/Rock New Artist award in 1996. KATSEYE will debut "PINKY UP" on U.S. television for the first time during the broadcast, while Teddy Swims takes on "Mr. Know It All."
Latin artist Maluma will perform an unreleased track from his latest album, Loco x Volver, which arrives May 15. Keith Urban will showcase material from his forthcoming yacht rock project Flow State, set for release June 12. Twenty One Pilots will perform "Drag Path," Riley Green will make his AMAs performance debut, and SOMBR will also take the stage for the first time at the ceremony.
Additional performers, presenters, and honorees will be announced in the coming weeks. Voting for all categories is currently underway through VoteAMAs.com and the @AMAs Instagram account, with the deadline set for Friday, May 8 at 11:59 a.m. PT. Social Song of the Year and Tour of the Year voting will extend through the first half-hour of the live broadcast.
Taylor Swift leads this year's nomination count following the announcement of contenders in April.
