Andy Cohen Reveals Devoted Bravo Fan Played Key Role in Solving Summer House Reunion Leak

April 26, 2026

The 57-year-old Bravo executive opened up about the unauthorized audio that surfaced from the Summer House Season 10 reunion, which wrapped filming recently, during the latest edition of his Radio Andy show on SiriusXM on Monday, April 27.

An internal Bravo investigation determined that a member of the production staff was responsible for the leak, and the network confirmed that "appropriate action" was taken in response.

Cohen described the reunion taping as particularly intense, explaining that Thursday's session ran from approximately 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., with an hour break for lunch. He characterized the day as emotionally taxing, with cast members displaying raw vulnerability and deep feelings on set.

The leak discovery came at an especially stressful moment for Cohen. He had scheduled eye surgery for Friday morning at 6:45 a.m. to correct a follow-up issue from a previous cataract procedure. Despite trying to rest Thursday night after the reunion, he found himself unable to sleep, still energized from the day's events. When he checked his phone early Friday before heading to his appointment, he discovered the audio had been posted online overnight.

Cohen expressed frustration not only with the leak itself but also with initial speculation blaming the cast members. He dismissed theories that they would have leaked material to secure better or worse edits or protect themselves, calling such suggestions unfounded. He noted that cast members subsequently felt compelled to publicly deny involvement, which upset him further.

He recalled texting Jen Geisser, Bravo's head of publicity, in the early morning hours about the situation. By the time he returned home from surgery, investigators—whom he humorously referenced as "Cagney and Lacey"—were already working on the case. The team included specialists analyzing audio equipment and recording devices to trace the leak's origin.

The breakthrough came from an unexpected source: a dedicated Bravo fan who came forward with information that proved instrumental in solving the case. Cohen praised fan communities, particularly established fan accounts, for their restraint in not amplifying the unauthorized material, contrasting their behavior with past incidents involving other Bravo shows.

He reflected on a previous situation involving a Housewives reunion where a fan account had posted detailed information about the taping. After messaging the account to express his disappointment, Cohen said the fan responded apologetically and ultimately revealed which cast member had been the original source—information the housewife in question remains unaware he possesses.

Cohen emphasized that the leak undermines the show's integrity and the considerable effort invested by both the production crew and cast members. Bravo subsequently issued a statement cautioning all parties and platforms against posting, sharing, or amplifying any additional unauthorized video or audio from the reunion.

He also noted that additional improperly obtained audio has been circulating, adding another layer of concern about the taping's security.
