Andy Samberg and Florence Pugh are deep into production on their upcoming film 42.6 Years, and the two were spotted getting comfortable during a day of shooting in Brooklyn.

The 47-year-old Emmy winner and 30-year-old Oscar-nominated performer filmed scenes on Wednesday, June 17 at a park in Brooklyn, New York. In one intimate moment captured between takes, Samberg rested his head on Pugh's lap as she sat beside him. He dressed casually in a pale-pink button-down shirt paired with black pants, while Pugh wore a striped button-down and jeans.

The following day, the pair reunited at Central Park to shoot additional scenes, this time riding bikes together for the cameras.

While Pugh's involvement in the project has not been formally announced, the casting appears to make sense based on the film's premise. According to reports, the story follows Ben, a man who undergoes an experimental procedure that leaves him cryogenically frozen for 42.6 years. Upon waking, he attempts to reconnect with his former girlfriend Ruthie, played by Annette Bening. Given the narrative setup, Pugh is believed to be portraying a younger version of the character, though this has not been officially confirmed.

Samberg is pulling double duty on the production, having conceived the story alongside writer Seth Reiss and serving as a producer on the film. Director Michael Schwartz, known for The Peanut Butter Falcon, is overseeing the project.

In other news, Pugh is set to star in the upcoming Netflix limited series East of Eden, which arrives on the streaming platform this fall.
