The fashion world's most anticipated evening brought together Vogue's top executive and her family. Anna Wintour, 76, graced the red carpet at the 2026 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday, May 4, making an entrance befitting her status as the event's co-chair.

The Editor-in-Chief made a striking visual statement in a seafoam green and black Chanel creation, which she accessorized with a matching feathered cape and Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry.

Wintour's daughter Bee Shaffer, 38, attended alongside her husband Francesco Carrozzini, 43. The couple, married since 2018, presented an elegant pairing—Bee in a red Givenchy by Sarah Burton dress adorned with floral detailing and Carrozzini in a classic black tuxedo.

Also in attendance was Wintour's son Charles Shaffer, who arrived with his wife Elizabeth Cordoy Shaffer.

Chloe Malle, who stepped into the role of US Head of Editorial Content at Vogue following Wintour's transition from that position in September 2025, made a solo appearance in a striking yellow-orange dress.

The evening celebrated the Met's Costume Art exhibition, which examines the "centrality of the dressed body" through depictions and interpretations of the human form from the museum's collection. The dress code theme, "Fashion is Art," guided attendees' selections. Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Wintour herself served as co-chairs for the gala, which drew hundreds of A-list celebrities to the prestigious annual event.
