Bee Shaffer and Francesco Carrozzini End Marriage After Nearly Eight Years

Bee Shaffer and Francesco Carrozzini have called it quits. The split comes as a surprise to many, given that the couple walked the Met Gala red carpet together a mere 11 days before making their separation public.
Shaffer, the daughter of Vogue's Anna Wintour, released a joint statement with Carrozzini to confirm the news. "After ten wonderful years together, we have decided to separate," the statement read. "Although our career paths led us in different directions, we remain the very best of friends and devoted, committed parents to our son. This is the only statement we will make, and we respectfully ask for privacy."
The pair exchanged vows in July 2018 and welcomed their son, Oliver, in October 2021. Oliver is set to turn five this year. According to sources, the former spouses intend to maintain a close friendship moving forward.
Though whispers about potential trouble in their marriage had circulated in recent months, their appearance together at the Met Gala—an event Shaffer attends annually—seemed to quiet any speculation at the time.
Carrozzini, an Italian photographer and filmmaker, has worked extensively in both mediums throughout his career. The couple's nearly eight-year marriage now comes to an end as they pursue separate paths professionally while continuing to co-parent their son.
