Ariana Grande is preparing to roll out fresh material this summer. The 32-year-old Grammy-winning artist revealed last month that her new album petal will arrive on July 31 through Republic Records.

Now, Grande has shared details about the project's lead single. "hate that i made you love me" is set to drop on Friday, May 29, with pre-orders available now.

Discussing the track on Instagram, Grande expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration. "One of my favorite songs I'll ever write produced by my favorite collaborators and dearest human beings in the world, the brilliant Ilya, the one and only Max Martin (and me," she wrote. "I simply cannot wait for it to be yours."

The album marks Grande's eighth studio effort, executive produced and co-written by the artist alongside ILYA. This follows her 2024 release Eternal Sunshine and its deluxe edition, Brighter Days Ahead.

Fans can pre-order petal now in multiple formats—standard LP, CD, cassette, and a D2C-exclusive LP variant—through Grande's official store.

The Oscar-nominated actress and Wicked star will support the album with The Eternal Sunshine Tour across North America and the UK this summer, launching in early June in California and wrapping up in August in London. Ticket information and venue details are available for purchase.
