Ariana Grande's Team Launches Instagram Account, Fueling Speculation About Eighth Album
The pop star's management has stepped up its promotional efforts with a fresh social media presence, continuing to build anticipation around what appears to be new music on the horizon.
On Monday, April 20, Team Ariana debuted an official Instagram account featuring a striking black-and-white photograph of flowers. "@teamariana is officially on IG ? stay tuned," the caption read. Grande herself has already engaged with the post, liking and reposting it while following the account.
The move marks the latest in a series of hints about AG8, Grande's forthcoming eighth studio album. Earlier this month on April 8, the Wicked star shared studio photos that appeared to represent the first substantial glimpse at the project in development. While she has not made any official announcement, industry reports have suggested the album could arrive during summer 2026.
The teasing began even earlier, with Grande playing a numbers game in March when discussing her REM Beauty glossy balms. She posted that she carries eight of the products in her bag, then clarified in a follow-up: "i realize what i've done by using that number but that is genuinely the count."
Beyond the album rollout, Grande has a full slate ahead. Her Eternal Sunshine Tour is set to launch this summer, bringing dates to North America and the United Kingdom. She is also preparing for the release of her upcoming film Focker-In-Law, which stars Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller.
