Banks and Drew Snider Announce Birth of Daughter Navy

Indie singer-songwriter Banks is now a mother. The artist announced the arrival of her first child with husband Drew Snider on Sunday, May 3, sharing the news across Instagram alongside a tender black-and-white photograph.

The newborn daughter has been named Navy Banks Snider. In the intimate photo, the infant wraps her tiny fingers around her mother's thumb.

"I miss you when you're right in front of me and we don't know how we ever lived without you," Banks wrote in the caption accompanying the announcement.

The pregnancy had been documented throughout its progression. In March, the "This Is What It Feels Like" artist shared images from a maternity photo shoot, revealing her growing bump. At that time, she mentioned working on musical pieces for her daughter, writing: "home stretch. Recording some lullabies for bb girl. Any recs? I'm writing some new ones and want to also do my own versions of some classics. Gimme ideas."

Banks had initially revealed she was expecting back in December 2025 through a video post on Instagram.

The announcement drew warm reactions from the entertainment world. Katy Perry commented with "Heaven on earth" and three blue heart emojis, while Lauren Jauregui wrote "Congrats mamaa." Other celebrities including Hilary Duff and Mary Beth Barone also offered their congratulations.
