Barbie Ferreira Opens Up About Unreleased Beyoncé 'THIQUE' Music Video

Barbie Ferreira has shared details about a project that never made it to screens. During an appearance on Owen Thiele's In Your Dreams series, the 29-year-old former Euphoria star disclosed that she participated in filming a music video for a Renaissance album track alongside Beyoncé, though the finished product will likely remain unseen by the public.

"I did a Beyoncé music video three and a half years ago as well, and it'll never come out," she shared. "I finally have accepted it."

The video was shot for "THIQUE," one of the tracks from the 44-year-old Grammy Award winner's 2022 Renaissance project. Ferreira described the experience positively despite its unreleased fate. "It was during Renaissance," she explained. "It was the 'THIQUE' music video and it was so cool, and I have accepted, no one will ever see it, but I do tell people I was in Beyoncé music video."

To date, Beyoncé has not released any official music videos from the Renaissance album. During the Renaissance Tour, she made a statement about her approach to visual content, declaring that "YOU are the visuals."

While the two artists didn't cross paths on the music video set, Ferreira got to meet Beyoncé at a private birthday celebration. The intimate gathering took place at a roller rink and included approximately 50 guests. "I have met her though. She invited me to her birthday party after the music video," Ferreira recalled. "I met her and I was like, I will say I got really drunk so I could say happy birthday to her because it was so intimate that I had to say happy birthday to Beyoncé."

Director Nadia Lee Cohen helmed the "THIQUE" video, which featured an ensemble of notable figures. Shy Girl, Carmen Electra, Megan Thee Stallion, and Precious Lee rounded out the cast. "It was a bunch of really cool girls," Ferreira said. "It was like thick b-tches."
