Beast Games Season 3 Gets Union Status After Crew Organizing Effort

The third installment of MrBeast's competitive game show Beast Games is moving forward with a significant behind-the-scenes development. More than 500 crew members involved in production at the North Carolina location have collectively organized to convert the previously non-union production into one recognized by the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE).
Following the transition, all crew members will receive retroactive compensation and benefits for their work during the pre-production phase of the Prime Video series. The show will maintain its union status throughout future seasons of production.
Michael F. Miller Jr., executive with the Motion Picture & Television Production Department, commented on the development: "Organizing Season 3 of Beast Games boiled down to IATSE solidarity in this difficult production environment. As employment in our industry continues to face challenges from predatory employers looking to take advantage of the industry contraction, our members and their Local leaders are showing that they have the strength to stand together to maintain standards in the face of repeated attacks on their livelihoods by greedy employers."
Season three was greenlit following the conclusion of season two earlier in 2026. The competition has already outlined eight rules that prospective contestants will need to follow for participation in the upcoming season.
