2026 BET Awards: Complete Winners Announced

The 2026 BET Awards wrapped up Sunday evening with all the night's honorees officially confirmed. Hosted by comedian and social media personality Druski, the celebration unfolded live at Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on June 28.

Coming into the ceremony, Cardi B commanded the most nominations with six, trailed by both Kendrick Lamar and Mariah the Scientist with five nominations apiece. The artist also took the stage to perform during the broadcast.

The evening marked the debut of two fresh award categories: the Fashion Vanguard Award and the Pulse Award. Beyond the competitive categories, the night celebrated significant figures in entertainment and music. Ms. Lauryn Hill received the Living Legend Icon Award, while Sylvia Rhone was presented with the Ultimate Icon Award. Teyana Taylor was recognized as Icon of the Year and emerged as one of the ceremony's standout victors, matching Clipse's win total for the most awards claimed throughout the night.

Major Award Winners:

Kendrick Lamar took home Best Male Hip Hop Artist, while Cardi B secured Best Female Hip Hop Artist. In the R&B/Pop categories, Kehlani won Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and Leon Thomas claimed Best Male R&B/Pop Artist. Clipse won Best Group, and their collaboration with Kendrick Lamar on "Chains & Whips" earned Best Collaboration honors.

Teyana Taylor won the Fashion Vanguard Award and Best Actress. Druski took the Pulse Award. Kehlani's "Folded" won Video of the Year, while Teyana "Spike-Tey" Taylor earned Video Director of the Year. Clipse's album "Let God Sort Em Out" won Album of the Year, and the film "Sinners" took home Best Movie.

In sports categories, A'ja Wilson won Sportswoman of the Year in basketball, and Jalen Brunson claimed Sportsman of the Year, also in basketball. Michael B. Jordan won Best Actor, and Olivia Dean took Best New Artist.

Doechii's "girl, get up." featuring SZA won BET Her, while Lecrae, Killer Mike, and T.I.'s "Headphones" earned the Dr. Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational Award.
