Billie Eilish Graces London Premiere of Concert Film with Director James Cameron
The 24-year-old Grammy and Oscar-winning artist made an appearance at London's Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on Tuesday evening (April 28) for the premiere of her concert film, "Hit Me Hard And Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D)." She was accompanied by the legendary filmmaker who served as co-director on the project.
In a recent interview with Elle, Eilish explained her initial hesitation about the film. "At first I was like, 'I don't want to do a documentary.' I shot a documentary when I was 15 to 18, just being filmed for three years straight.…I'm so private about my actual life now," she shared.
The collaboration with Cameron came about in an unexpected way. "Usually, things go through the team and the managers. But it was literally my mom who told me, 'Hey, James Cameron has been really obsessed with your show from afar,'" Eilish revealed.
The concert film arrives in theaters on May 8, though select early screenings are currently available at various locations throughout the week.
Eilish stepped out in a Celine ensemble for the evening's red carpet appearance.
