Miles Heizer and Angus O'Brien Reunite for Gym Session

Miles Heizer and Angus O'Brien linked up for a fitness session this week, giving fans a glimpse of their in-person reunion.

On Wednesday, April 29, O'Brien, 29, posted a photo to his Instagram Story capturing both actors shirtless at the gym, flexing their physiques in front of a mirror as they worked out together.

The pair starred opposite each other in the LGBTQ+ coming-of-age series Boots, which debuted on Netflix in October 2025. The show followed closeted Marine recruit Cameron Cope, played by Heizer, 31, and his best friend Ray McAffey, portrayed by Liam Oh, as they navigated boot camp alongside a group of diverse recruits during the 1990s, when homosexuality was prohibited in the military. The ensemble cast worked through the physical and emotional challenges of military training while discovering their identities.

Despite its premise, the series was canceled following its first season. Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos later commented on the cancellation, discussing whether the Trump administration's Department of War played a role in the show's axing.
