Brianne Howey Announces Second Pregnancy on Mother's Day

Brianne Howey is growing her family. The 36-year-old star of Ginny & Georgia announced on Mother's Day that she and her 41-year-old husband Matt Ziering are expecting their second child together.

Howey shared the announcement via Instagram on Sunday, May 10, posting a mirror selfie showcasing her baby bump in a yellow dress. "Here we grow again," she captioned the photo, alongside "Happy Mother's Day!"

The couple are already parents to their 2-year-old daughter Siggy and have been married since 2021. Their first daughter was born in June 2023.

Prior to welcoming Siggy, Howey discussed how motherhood would reshape her perspective on her hit Netflix series. Speaking with People, she reflected on how playing Georgia—the complicated, boundary-pushing mother at the show's center—took on new meaning after becoming a parent herself.

"Before having a child, I thought a lot of Georgia's behavior was absolutely insane and unhinged and over the top, and why is she taking up so much space?" Howey explained. "Now that I have a child, I am so obsessed with her that I understand why Georgia is so obsessed with Ginny. My heart only got bigger, and I have even more respect for all the moms out there."

The couple was spotted out for a date night in Los Angeles in early May at the restaurant Funke, where Howey's growing bump was visible. During the recent holiday season, Howey and Ziering created a family holiday card with Shutterfly, featuring themselves, Siggy, and their dog Bodie.
