Bridgerton Season 5 Confirmed for 2027 Netflix Release

Netflix has provided an update on when fans can expect the next chapter of Bridgerton. While an exact premiere date remains under wraps, the streamer has locked in a release window for Season 5.
The highly anticipated season is set to arrive in 2027, according to Netflix. Bela Bajaria, an executive at the company, revealed during Netflix's Upfront presentation that the beloved period drama "will return next year with Season 5." The announcement left open the question of whether the season will roll out in two installments or drop all at once.
Season 5 will shift its focus to Francesca, the introverted middle daughter of the Bridgerton family, played by Hannah Dodd. The official description reveals that two years have passed since Francesca lost her husband John. Seeking a practical solution to her circumstances, she decides to re-enter the marriage market. Her plans take an unexpected turn when John's cousin Michaela, portrayed by Masali Baduza, comes back to London to manage the Kilmartin estate. The reunion stirs up complicated emotions for Francesca, forcing her to weigh her pragmatic goals against what her heart truly desires.
The upcoming season will also see a notable departure from the cast, though specifics on the exit have not yet been disclosed.
