Brooke Hogan Sets Record Straight on Speculation About Scott McGillivray

Brooke Hogan is moving to put rumors to rest regarding her professional partnership with Scott McGillivray on HGTV's Rock the Block.

The 37-year-old recording artist took to Instagram to address speculation from fans who have suggested a romantic connection between her and the 48-year-old television personality. The pair currently appear together on the network's newest season of the home improvement competition series.

"People looooove to speculate. There's been a lot of people commenting on posts of me and Scott suggesting we have a 'thing' going on. And honestly, it's just mean and hateful. (But sorry we're so funny and adorable on camera?)," Hogan wrote in her post.

She continued with a lighthearted message about her own relationship, saying: "So for those people – I'll just leave you with these pictures of Scott and my husband. If you're worried about anyone, worry about my hockey player husband stealing his sweet Canadian heart. ?"

The two have maintained an active social media presence throughout the current season, regularly posting content featuring their on-screen collaborations and behind-the-scenes moments. Both are in established relationships—Hogan married NHL player Steven Oleksy in 2022, and the couple shares twins Molly Gene and Oliver, born in January 2025. McGillivray has been married to Sabrina McGillivray since 2008; the couple has two daughters, Myah, 14, and Layla, 12.

The clarification comes as new episodes of Rock the Block continue to air on the network.
