Bunnie Xo Reveals She and Jelly Roll Plan to Have Baby Together Following Divorce

Bunnie Xo (real name Alisa DeFord), 46, is setting the record straight about what comes next following her separation from Jelly Roll.
Speaking on her Dumb Blonde podcast Thursday, the host explained that despite the end of her 10-year marriage to the country artist—whose real name is Jason DeFord, 41—the two remain committed to starting a family together.
"We're going to co-parent together," Bunnie said on the episode. "J is my best friend. Like, this isn't what you guys think this is. Nobody cheated on the other person. It's literally just we served our purpose for each other."
She emphasized the unconventional nature of their arrangement, noting that fans shouldn't fixate on the past. "Our future is so much more important and being happy and healthy and best friends through this is probably the biggest gift that we could have given each other," she explained.
The podcast host opened up about the emotional toll of their fertility journey, revealing that she and Jelly Roll experienced four miscarriages during attempts to conceive. "It wrecked me emotionally, spiritually, physically," she shared, adding that both underwent hormone treatments in pursuit of having a child. "In a way, I kind of think J and I are trauma-bonded."
As part of their divorce settlement, Bunnie will reside at their shared compound with their future child. "I'm so excited to live my life through a child's eyes, which is why this baby journey, I'm not going to let it break me, and I'm not going to deter it," she said. "And J has been so f–king great about us still having a baby together and he wants the same thing. And we're just going to raise little Nugget as one big happy family."
Jelly Roll has two children from previous relationships: daughter Bailee Ann, 18, and son Noah Buddy, 9.
During the same podcast appearance, Bunnie also discussed a Mother's Day incident that prompted Jelly Roll to file for divorce.
