Caitriona Balfe Makes Madrid Appearance as 'Outlander' Prepares for Series Finale

Caitriona Balfe was in Madrid on Thursday to celebrate the conclusion of Outlander, one of television's most beloved time-travel epics.

The 46-year-old Golden Globe-nominated actress arrived at the Telefonica Foundation for the season 8 presentation on April 23, turning heads in a cream sweater paired with a black leather midi skirt and black heels.

The final episodes of Outlander arrive May 15 on Starz, bringing the series to a close after years of devoted viewership. The concluding season finds Jamie and Claire returning to Fraser's Ridge, where the settlement they left behind has transformed during their absence. The new chapter promises to test the couple's bond as they navigate both external threats and long-buried family revelations that could fracture their relationship from within.

According to the season synopsis, the Frasers must grapple with what they're prepared to sacrifice to protect their home and preserve their marriage. Though they've escaped the American Revolution's chaos, their battle to defend Fraser's Ridge is just beginning.
