Cardi B and Stefon Diggs Caught in Tense Exchange in Maryland

A video showing Cardi B and Stefon Diggs in what appeared to be an intense confrontation has gone viral across social media.

The 33-year-old rapper and 32-year-old NFL player were captured on camera outside a coffee shop and gym in Burtonsville, Maryland on Wednesday, May 13. In the footage, Cardi could be seen appearing to raise her voice at Stefon, who was leaning against his vehicle with his arms folded. Security personnel intervened at one point, with a man placing a hand on Cardi in an apparent attempt to de-escalate the situation.

According to reports, Cardi made a comment about someone being "messy" during the exchange. The confrontation reportedly lasted approximately 10 minutes, and their security team prevented fans from approaching Cardi for autographs during the incident.

The public clash comes just days after the pair made a joint appearance at the Diggs Deep Foundation Mother's Day event, where they displayed affectionate behavior toward one another.

Cardi later weighed in on the incident via social media, posting on X: "Sometimes I forget I'm a celebrity… damn y'all ain't never cuss your babydad out when you hungry?"

The two have been the subject of reconciliation speculation since early April, when they were spotted together at one of Cardi's concert after-parties in Washington D.C. These recent sightings mark their first public appearances together in some time. In February, during a Los Angeles performance, Cardi had stated she wasn't involved with her "baby daddy."

The pair welcomed their first child together in November 2025.
