Charli XCX Makes Paris Premiere Debut for Film 'Erupcja'

The 33-year-old artist graced the red carpet Wednesday, June 24, at the Paris premiere of her film Erupcja—a title meaning "Eruption" in Polish. The event took place at UGC Cine Cite Les Halles in the French capital.

Charli turned heads in a pale yellow dress paired with black heels for the occasion. The movie follows Bethany, played by Charli, whose romantic getaway with her fiancé-to-be Rob, portrayed by Will Madden, takes an unexpected turn when a volcanic eruption traps them in Warsaw, Poland. The incident becomes a catalyst for Bethany to shed her emotional baggage, reconnect with childhood friend Nel (Lena Góra), and navigate the nightlife across the city's lofts, clubs, and back alleys—all while grappling with complex feelings that force her to reassess who she is.

Director Pete Ohs wrote, directed, edited, and produced the "anti-romantic comedy," with Charli contributing to the screenplay alongside Ohs and Góra.

Just one day prior, Charli was front and center at Paris Fashion Week, sitting front row at the Saint Laurent Show alongside Madonna, Connor Storrie, Kate Moss, and other notable figures.

The musician has increasingly focused on acting in recent years. Her mockumentary The Moment premiered last year, and she's set to appear in I Want Your Sex alongside Olivia Wilde and Cooper Hoffman. Additional projects in development include The Galleriest, a Faces of Death remake, and a forthcoming horror collaboration with Takashi Mike.

This year, Charli will embark on her Music, Fashion, Film Tour in support of her latest album of the same name.
