Charlize Theron Takes on Times Square Rock Wall to Promote Netflix's APEX
Charlize Theron pushed her promotional efforts to literal new heights with a daring stunt in the heart of New York City.
On Friday afternoon (April 24), the Oscar-winning actress, 50, ascended a rock wall suspended above Times Square to drum up buzz for her latest Netflix release, APEX. Having trained in climbing techniques for the film itself, Theron drew onlookers from the streets below as she made her way up the towering installation.
Upon reaching the summit, Theron delivered an emphatic message to viewers: "Apex is streaming on Netflix right now, motherf–kers. Don't make me climb a wall in Times Square for nothing!"
The thriller follows a grieving woman who ventures into the Australian wilderness only to find herself caught in a perilous encounter with a ruthless hunter. The cast also includes Taron Egerton and Eric Bana, with the film now available globally on Netflix.
At the film's premiere, Theron made a bold fashion statement by wearing a blazer with nothing underneath, showcasing her daring red-carpet style alongside her commitment to the project's promotion.
