Chase Infiniti and Tyriq Withers were spotted spending time together at the F1 Grand Prix in Miami.

The pair visited the Audi F1 garage on Friday, May 1, to mark the opening day of the racing event in Florida. Infiniti, 25, is a Golden Globe nominee, while Withers, 27, starred in Reminders of Him.

Their outing has fueled ongoing internet chatter about a potential romance between the two emerging talents. The shipping fervor picked up steam after photos of them together circulated online, with fans eager to see the actors linked romantically.

Much of the speculation stems from a shared connection to Kerry Washington. The Scandal alum has become something of an unofficial matchmaker in the narrative, joking that the two actors bear striking resemblances to her and her on-screen co-star Tony Goldwyn's characters from the hit series.

During an appearance on Call Her Daddy in March, Washington addressed the persistent joke. "There aren't [reboots], but this joke about Chase Infiniti and Tyriq being our children, this is like the joke that will not die and I love it so much," she explained. "They actually do, like she has my smile and Tyriq has his smile. It's so absurd."

When Entertainment Tonight posed the question about fan shipping during the 2026 Oscars red carpet, Infiniti kept her response playful. "The internet is the internet, I don't know," she said with a grin, before adding, "He's really nice. Listen, I could credit it all to Kerry Washington. She's been pulling us together."
