Seven Stars Confirmed to Return for Chicago P.D. Season 14

Chicago P.D. is gearing up for its 14th season on NBC, with the network having locked in several key cast members to continue the drama.

The long-running series follows the patrol officers and Intelligence Unit of the 21st District of the Chicago Police Department as they tackle the city's most serious crimes while navigating personal challenges and their commitment to the force.

The network greenlighted Season 14 earlier this year, with the show slated to air Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. ET/PT. While an exact premiere date hasn't been announced yet, production is moving forward with a solid roster of returning talent.

Showrunner Gwen Sigan shared her vision for what's ahead, telling Parade: "I expect that next season is going to be a real season of change for everybody, for these characters, for the unit, for the job itself, what that's all going to look like. I think we have so many opportunities. Exciting storylines to play with, hopefully some new things to explore. And we've got a lot of different directions to play in."

Seven cast members have been confirmed to return for the upcoming season, though specific details about departures and new additions remain under wraps as the network prepares for the show's return to primetime.
