Ciara Miller and Maura Higgins Confirmed for Dancing with the Stars Season 35
The ballroom is getting two fresh faces this season. ABC's Dancing with the Stars has unveiled its first pair of celebrity competitors for season 35: 30-year-old Summer House star Ciara Miller and 35-year-old Maura Higgins, known from Love Island and The Traitors.
The announcement came Wednesday during Hulu's Get Real House presentation, which highlights upcoming unscripted programming from both the streamer and ABC.
Speculation around both contestants joining the dance competition had circulated among fans in recent weeks, and their official confirmations mark the beginning of the casting reveal for the new season. The show will air this fall on ABC, with episodes streaming the following day on Disney+ and Hulu. Additional celebrity participants and their professional dance partners will be announced in the coming weeks.
Miller joined Summer House in season five and has remained a fixture on the series since. Beyond her reality TV presence, she previously worked as a nurse and has taken on hosting duties for various red carpet livestreams. Her castmates West Wilson and Amanda Batula recently confirmed they were dating, with Wilson having previously been involved with Miller.
Higgins made her mark on Love Island UK season five as a bombshell entrant before becoming a household name. She later moved into hosting, taking over the After Sun aftershow for Love Island USA. Most recently, she competed on The Traitors US, advancing to the final two as a faithful contestant. She was ultimately eliminated when fellow finalist Rob Rausch revealed himself as a traitor.
More casting announcements and details about the professional dancers are expected to follow.
