Jacqueline Falk, Daughter of 'Columbo' Star Peter Falk, Dead at 60

Jacqueline Falk has passed away at 60 years old.
The adopted daughter of the late "Columbo" star Peter Falk died on Monday, April 27, in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner determined her death was a suicide. Further details surrounding her passing remain limited at this time, with an investigation underway to establish additional facts, according to People.
Peter Falk died in 2011 at age 83 after struggling with Alzheimer's disease. He adopted Jacqueline during his marriage to his first wife, Alyce Mayo, who passed away in 2016.
Jacqueline's sister, Catherine Falk, established the Catherine Falk Organization focused on preserving visitation and communication rights for adult children. Catherine has made allegations that Peter's second wife failed to keep her and Jacqueline informed about their father's death and proceeded with his burial without notifying them.
According to reports, Catherine pursued her right to visit their father, while Jacqueline did not pursue the same legal action. This resulted in Jacqueline being unable to see Peter during the final three years of his life. When Peter was hospitalized in June 2011, his second wife reportedly did not inform his daughters. Similarly, when he died, the daughters learned of it through media coverage and their attorney rather than direct notification. Peter's second wife arranged his burial without alerting his daughters to the arrangements.
