Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid End Relationship After 10+ Years

Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid have ended their long-term relationship.

The split between the 62-year-old actress and the 49-year-old Snow Patrol frontman was confirmed on Saturday, June 27. The pair had been together for more than a decade.

Cox and McDaid's romance began in late 2013 when they connected at a gathering thrown by the Emmy-nominated star. During a 2022 interview, Cox discussed which celebrity friends played a role in their introduction.

Nine months into their relationship, the couple became engaged, though they decided to part ways in late 2015. They later reconciled in 2016 but chose not to pursue another engagement.

The two were seen enjoying a double date last August alongside Jennifer Aniston and her boyfriend Jim Curtis—a rare public outing for the pair.

Prior to her years with McDaid, Cox was married to actor David Arquette, her co-star from the Scream franchise. The couple was married from 1999 to 2013 and share a 22-year-old daughter, Coco.
