Shakira and Burna Boy Unveil 'Dai Dai' Music Video Featuring Elite Soccer Players for 2026 World Cup

Shakira and Burna Boy have unveiled the official music video for their World Cup anthem, "Dai Dai," which dropped on Saturday, May 23.
The track, released earlier in May, serves as the official song for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The accompanying visual is packed with appearances from some of the world's most elite soccer players, including Lionel Messi, Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappé, Rodrigo Hernández (Rodri), Vinícius Júnior, Takefusa Kubo, Santiago Giménez, Erling Haaland, Luis Díaz, Alphonso Davies, Jamal Musiala, and Christian Pulisic.
Beyond the football stars, the video also features Ghetto Kids Uganda, an NGO that transforms the lives of orphaned, street, and vulnerable children through music, dance, and drama. The organization provides education, shelter, healthcare, and food while offering children a pathway away from street hardship.
A striking moment in the video captures Shakira positioned atop Mexico City's Angel de la Independencia, the iconic monument located on Reforma Avenue. The scene serves as a homage to Mexico, a nation central to Shakira's career trajectory. The production was made possible with support from Mexico City's tourism initiative "Ciudad de México Corazón Grande."
The tournament kicks off on June 11, 2026. Notably, Shakira will share the halftime spotlight at the World Cup Final on July 19 alongside Madonna and BTS—marking the first-ever halftime performance in World Cup history.
