Dave Portnoy Takes Aim at Justin Herbert Over Madison Beer Music Video Appearance

Dave Portnoy is calling out Justin Herbert's decision to appear in a music video alongside his girlfriend Madison Beer.

The 49-year-old Barstool Sports founder shared his thoughts on X on Friday, May 8, following the release of Madison's music video for "Lovergirl." In the clip, the couple shares intimate moments together, including kissing scenes.

"Call me crazy but I like my coaches and QB's concentrating on the weight room and studying game tape rather than making steamy music videos," Portnoy wrote alongside the video.

He went on to draw a comparison between his preferred approach and the contrasting outcomes of two NFL franchises. "But maybe that's why we have 6 rings and were in the Super Bowl last year and the Chargers can't win a playoff game," he added, referencing his affinity for the New England Patriots and highlighting the Los Angeles Chargers' playoff struggles.

Herbert has yet to win a postseason game during his six seasons in the NFL, according to reports.

The quarterback made his relationship with Madison Beer Instagram official in April, sharing a photo where he referred to her as his "world." The previous month, Madison had publicly confirmed their romance on social media to celebrate his birthday, describing him as her "dream come true."
