Pedro Pascal and Danny Ramirez Spotted on De Noche Set in Mexico City

Set photos have emerged from the Mexico City production of De Noche, the upcoming gay romance film headlining Pedro Pascal and Danny Ramirez. The candid shots were captured in late April 2026 while the cast and crew were actively filming.
The film explores a passionate and unexpected connection between a cop, played by Pascal, and a boarding school teacher, portrayed by Ramirez. Set against the backdrop of 1930s Los Angeles—a city gripped by political corruption amid mounting global tensions—the story follows the two men as they become entangled with the city's corrupt power structure and ultimately flee to Mexico.
Pascal's casting comes after Joaquin Phoenix originally signed on for the project but exited in 2024. Following that departure, production was shelved before resuming with Pascal taking on the lead role approximately 18 months later.
The actor has maintained a busy schedule on the big screen. His upcoming Star Wars film, Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, arrives in theaters on May 22.
