Deacon Phillippe Celebrates NYU Tisch Graduation Surrounded by Family

Deacon Phillippe is marking a major milestone. The 22-year-old musician earned his degree from the NYU Tisch School of the Arts on Friday, May 15, and took to Instagram to document the celebration with loved ones.

The son of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe posted several snapshots from his graduation day, capturing moments with both parents, former stepfather Jim Toth, and siblings Ava Phillippe and Tennessee Toth. One candid shot shows Deacon and Jim together in the foreground while Ryan appears in the background. Deacon's caption read simply: "Coledge grajuit."

Reese also shared her own collection of photos and videos from the event on her Instagram account. Among the images was content featuring her friend Laura Dern, who delivered remarks as the ceremony's honored speaker. "After 4years of hard work, long days , endless papers &classes, working with the greatest teachers and making new friends.. my wonderful son graduated from @nyutisch ! I'm so proud of you @deaconphillippe," Reese wrote, punctuating her message with a purple heart and graduation cap emoji.

The NYU Tisch School of the Arts saw another notable graduate that same day. Kate Hudson attended the ceremony with her family to support her son Ryder Robinson, whom she shares with ex Chris Robinson. Ryder's cheering section included Kate's parents Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn, along with her fiancé Danny Fujikawa.
