April 28, 2026

Demi Moore stepped out in New York City on Tuesday night to support her longtime friend Rita Wilson at an intimate event. The 63-year-old actress joined Wilson at 92NY for a conversation centered around Wilson's forthcoming album, Sound of a Woman. During the evening, Wilson performed several tracks from her sixth studio album, set for release on May 1.

The New York outing comes just one day after the announcement that Moore's next film project has officially begun production. The thriller, titled Tyrant and helmed by director David Weil, is now in active development in Los Angeles.

Moore will headline the cast alongside Charlize Theron and Julia Garner. The production has also brought on several additional cast members, including Hudson Williams from Heated Rivalry, Pappa Essiedu, known for his work in the Harry Potter television series, musician and actor Omar Apollo, and social media personality and model Nara Smith.

Details surrounding the film's plot and character roles remain under wraps, though the project has been characterized as a high-stakes thriller drawing inspiration from Wall Street and Whiplash. The story unfolds within the world of New York City's upscale fine dining industry.

Moore completed her evening look with Aquazzura heels.
