Stars Shine at NYC Ballet Spring Gala Celebrating Creation and Preservation

The red carpet came alive at Lincoln Center on Thursday evening as celebrities descended on the David H. Koch Theater for the 2026 New York City Ballet Spring Gala.
Among the attendees was the rarely-seen-together couple Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus, who turned heads with their elegant ensembles. The longtime partners have kept their public appearances to a minimum, making their presence at the May 7 event particularly noteworthy.
The evening drew an impressive roster of entertainment industry figures, including Emmy Rossum, Mick Jagger alongside his fiancée Melanie Hamrick, model Ashley Graham, and prima ballerina Tiler Peck. Additional guests included Fran Drescher, Sutton Stracke, Olivia Palermo, and Johannes Huebl.
Themed "Set in Stone – Creation & Preservation," the gala featured an ambitious program that showcased the company's artistic vision. The centerpiece was a world premiere choreographed by Principal Dancer Tiler Peck—her second commission for the company—set to Édouard Lalo's Symphonie Espagnole in D Minor. The production marked a significant moment, bringing together world-renowned violinist Hilary Hahn performing alongside the NYCB Orchestra and a cast of over 30 dancers.
The evening concluded with a presentation of George Balanchine's Diamonds, the grand finale from the iconic Jewels ballet. Set to Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 3, this performance held special significance as the company prepares to celebrate the ballet's diamond anniversary in 2027.
