The Stranger Things actress shared a series of beach photos on Instagram over the weekend, and viewers quickly zoomed in on her Alison Lou necklace, spotting what appeared to be a name spelled out in gold lettering.

"Her necklace says Ruth! Baby name??!!," one commenter wrote, with others echoing the observation online.

The revelation comes nearly nine months after Brown and her husband Jake Bongiovi announced they had adopted their first child, a daughter, in August 2025. The 22-year-old actress has kept details about her daughter largely private, never publicly sharing the child's face or name.

It's worth noting that Ruth was also the name of Brown's late grandmother, making it entirely possible the necklace serves as a heartfelt tribute rather than a reveal of the baby's identity.

When it comes to family support, Brown has already designated some key players in her daughter's life. During the Stranger Things Season 5 world premiere, she told Entertainment Tonight that her co-star Noah Schnapp, who portrays Will Byers on the hit Netflix series, serves as the godfather.

"Sadie is very, very maternal but Noah's her godfather," Brown shared, referencing co-star Sadie Sink. "They all turn into the most gooey, soft versions of themselves [and] their baby voice comes out when they're around her."
