Donald Trump Demands ABC Fire Jimmy Kimmel Over White House Correspondents' Dinner Joke

Donald Trump is pressing for the removal of late-night personality Jimmy Kimmel from his ABC platform.

The controversy stems from a comedic bit Kimmel performed ahead of the White House Correspondents' Dinner, during which he quipped about Melania Trump: "Look at Melania, so beautiful. Mrs. Trump, you have a glow like an expectant widow." The remark was part of a staged fake roast preceding the formal event.

Though Kimmel addressed the backlash during his monologue on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week, Trump remains unsatisfied with the outcome. On early Thursday morning (April 30), the former president took to Truth Social to reiterate his position, stating: "When is ABC Fake News Network firing seriously unfunny Jimmy Kimmel, who incompetently presides over one of the Lowest Rated shows on Television? People are angry. It better be soon!!! President DJT."

As of now, ABC has not issued any official response regarding potential personnel changes, and sources close to the network have not indicated whether such action is under consideration. The situation remains fluid as both parties navigate the public dispute.
