Trump Reports All Clear After Latest Walter Reed Medical Visit

President Trump has given an update following his visit to Walter Reed Military Medical Center on Tuesday, May 26, declaring that his medical examination went smoothly.
The 79-year-old president, who will turn 80 next month, shared news of the visit through a post on his TruthSocial account. He stated that he had just completed a six-month physical at the military medical facility and that "everything checked out PERFECTLY," adding his thanks to the doctors and staff involved before noting his return to the White House.
The visit aligns with the White House's earlier statement that Trump was heading to Walter Reed for a "routine annual dental and medical assessment."
This marks Trump's third trip to Walter Reed in roughly a year and his fourth publicly disclosed medical examination during his second administration. In October, he underwent a secondary physical exam and cognitive test. The previous July brought an ultrasound of his veins, which led to a diagnosis of chronic venous insufficiency.
Earlier in April, the White House addressed speculation about Trump's health after reports suggested he may have fallen ill or been receiving treatment at Walter Reed. The questions emerged following a period during which the president had not made public appearances for several days.
In January, Trump discussed a medical procedure he had undergone on his doctor's recommendation, characterizing the experience in candid terms as "the worst f—— thing I ever did."
