The President is still weighing whether he'll make it to his son's nuptials. During remarks to the press at the Oval Office on Thursday, the 79-year-old indicated he hasn't firmly committed to the ceremony.

Donald Trump Jr., 48, is set to marry Bettina Anderson, a 39-year-old model and socialite, in an intimate gathering this weekend in the Bahamas. When asked about his attendance, Trump expressed hesitation about the timing.

"He'd like me to go, but it's going to be just a small little private affair, and I'm going to try and make it," Trump said, according to reports from the scene. "This is not good timing for me. Everything called Iran and other things."

The President elaborated on the bind he finds himself in, describing it as an impossible situation. "It's one I can't win on," he explained. "If I do attend, I get killed. If I don't attend, I get killed."

Despite his scheduling conflicts, Trump offered well-wishes for the couple's future. "Hopefully they're going to have a great marriage," he said.

Trump Jr. proposed to Anderson in December 2025 after the pair began dating in 2024. His previous engagement to former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle came to an end around that same time. Trump Jr. was married to Vanessa Trump from 2005 to 2018, and the former couple shares five children: Kai, 19; Donald, 17; Tristan, 14; Spencer, 13; and Chloe, 11. Vanessa has since moved on and is currently dating a prominent professional golfer.
