Drew Carey Calls Out Spencer Pratt as 'Serial Scammer' in L.A. Mayoral Race

Drew Carey has become the latest celebrity to voice strong opposition to Spencer Pratt's mayoral campaign in Los Angeles.

The 68-year-old TV personality took to Threads on Friday, May 22, to express his disapproval of the 42-year-old reality star's run for office. Pratt is challenging current Mayor Karen Bass and City Council member Nithya Raman in the race.

"Anyone who votes for, or endorses Spencer Prattfall for Mayor of LA needs to get their head out of their ass," Carey wrote in his post. "I understand being angry/unsatisfied, but at least get behind someone competent and not some serial scammer without a soul or moral compass."

He concluded his remarks with a blunt final statement: "Fuck this guy already."

Carey is not alone in his criticism. Chelsea Handler has similarly urged her followers to reject Pratt's candidacy. Despite the opposition from certain celebrities, however, Pratt has garnered support from other entertainment industry figures as his campaign gains traction.

The Hills alum has previously outlined what he intends to do if he doesn't win the mayoral election.
