Morgan Wade Joins 'Dutton Ranch' Spinoff in Acting Debut
Country music artist Morgan Wade is stepping into the acting world with a role in the highly anticipated Yellowstone spinoff Dutton Ranch.
The 31-year-old singer has been tapped for a recurring part in the Paramount+ series, where she'll play Carol, a bartender working at a local establishment in Rio Paloma, Texas who "sees all," according to reports.
This marks Wade's television acting debut, adding her name to a growing roster of musicians who have appeared across the Yellowstone franchise. Ryan Bingham, Lainey Wilson, Zach Bryan, Isaac Hoskins, and Shane Smith & The Saints have all previously appeared on the original series.
Dutton Ranch follows Kelly Reilly's Beth Dutton and Cole Hauser's Rip Wheeler as they relocate to Texas and establish themselves away from their past. The show's premise centers on the pair's efforts to forge a new life together while navigating brutal circumstances and confronting a formidable rival ranch willing to do whatever it takes to defend its holdings. Set in South Texas, the narrative explores themes of survival and moral compromise in a landscape where loyalties run fierce and second chances are scarce.
The series is set to bow on Paramount+ on Friday, May 15, with two episodes launching simultaneously.
