Maisie Peters Opens Up About Taylor Swift Wedding Invite Status

Maisie Peters is addressing speculation about whether she's on the guest list for Taylor Swift's upcoming wedding.
The 25-year-old "Place We Were Made" artist served as the opening act for the 36-year-old "Love Story" hitmaker's Eras Tour in August 2024 at Wembley Stadium in London. During an interview on the Zach Sang Show, Peters was asked if she'd received an invitation to the nuptials between Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce.
"I've not received a sourdough loaf or a wedding invite," Peters said. "I think that's OK."
The two artists had the opportunity to connect backstage following the August 2024 performance. Peters recalled making a special effort before taking the stage, saying, "I actually went [to the Brick Lane market] to buy Taylor some presents before I did the show. I got her some books and a little tote bag." She also shared that she delivered "a spiel" about her admiration for actress Hilary Duff.
In a lighthearted moment, Peters suggested her passionate tribute to Duff might be the culprit behind the missing invite. "After hearing my spiel on Hillary Duff, I don't think it's coming," she joked. "Obviously, I'm a huge fan and maybe one day I'll get to try her sourdough. Life goal [and it's good] to have dreams."
Swift is reportedly planning to marry Kelce on July 3, 2026, in New York City, according to recent reports. While several outlets have suggested that save-the-dates have already been distributed to guests, neither Swift nor Kelce has officially confirmed the wedding details.
