Euphoria Actress Dismisses Set Tension Reports, Confirms Cast Got Along During Season 3
Speculation about behind-the-scenes friction on Euphoria's third season got shut down by Jessica Blair Herman during an appearance on Monday's "Good Day New York."
The actress, who portrays Heather—a neighbor to Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi's characters Cassie and Nate—addressed chatter about potential tension between Zendaya and Sweeney while the show was in production.
According to Herman, the cast fostered a collaborative atmosphere on set. "Everyone got along," she stated, emphasizing her sincerity. She went on to characterize the environment as one with "no drama" and highlighted the "beautiful working relationship" that formed among the ensemble.
Herman pointed out that the cast members were primarily focused on their work. "Everyone wants to do the work, to come in and do the job," she explained.
The actress also noted a practical reason why any potential friction between her two co-stars would have been minimal: Zendaya and Sweeney didn't share many scenes together during production. "Their storylines are very separate, you're shooting on different days and stuff," Herman said, adding that the actors worked on different schedules as a result of their separate narrative arcs.
The season features a wedding between Cassie and Nate, which has already generated buzz with newly released behind-the-scenes photos from the episode.
