Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor Left Off Peter Phillips' Wedding Guest List

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the former Prince Andrew, will not be attending his nephew Peter Phillips' upcoming wedding, according to reports.
The 66-year-old former royal has been excluded from the June 6th ceremony, where Peter—the son of Princess Anne—will marry fiancée Harriet Sperling. The couple became engaged last summer and plan to exchange vows at All Saints Church.
The exclusion marks another instance of the Royal Family distancing itself from Mountbatten-Windsor. His removal from royal events follows his connection to the Epstein files and subsequent arrest on suspicion of misconduct. In response, he voluntarily relinquished his royal titles, which King Charles formally finalized at the end of the previous year.
The situation has extended beyond event invitations. Earlier this year, reports emerged that the UK government was exploring the possibility of removing Mountbatten-Windsor from the royal line of succession entirely. He currently holds the eighth position in the line, following Prince William and his three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—as well as Prince Harry and his two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Should such a removal occur, his daughter Princess Beatrice would assume his place in the succession order. Peter Phillips, meanwhile, ranks 19th in line to the throne.
