Emma Roberts and Evan Peters Share the Stage at American Horror Story Casting Reveal

The ensemble cast of American Horror Story took the stage at the Disney Upfront event in New York City on Tuesday, May 12, to announce fresh casting for the horror anthology series.

Among the highlights of the presentation was a particularly noteworthy moment: Evan Peters and Emma Roberts standing together as Paul Anthony Kelly was introduced as the newest member of the franchise. The newcomer made a dramatic entrance, emerging as a hooded figure to surprise attendees.

Peters and Roberts have a storied history both professionally and personally. The two began dating in 2012 and became engaged two years later before separating in 2015. They reconciled and remained connected until around 2019. Both have established themselves as key players in the AHS universe across multiple seasons.

Joining them on stage were fellow franchise veterans Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Billie Lourd, and Gabourey Sidibe.

The casting announcement comes after Ryan Murphy revealed an all-star lineup of 10 cast members last Halloween in 2025 for the upcoming installment. The series has been on break since early 2024.
